Bow to your Cephalopodic overlords!

Last January, an Antarctic fish boat crew found themselves saddled with a live giant squid in their nets.

Holy goodness.

The squid is now in New Zealand sitting in a tank of saline just above freezing level.  The scientists have four hours to examine the squid before it starts to decompose.  Science rules!
